A Message from the President
Greetings!
Welcome to the official website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Pi Phi Omega Chapter, based in Northeast Queens, New York. I am honored to serve as the 13th Chapter President of Pi Phi Omega. For the past thirty-seven years, our chapter has been dedicated to providing impactful service to the Queens community and all of mankind.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is the oldest sorority established by African American women in 1908 in our nation. Under the leadership of our International President & CEO, Danette Anthony Reed, the 2022-2026 theme is “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood." This theme encompasses six initiatives. Strengthen Our Sisterhood serves at the “Foundation Initiative” as we strengthen our bonds to support our service mission.

Chartered on May 30, 1987, Pi Phi Omega chapter has a rich legacy of sisterhood, service, and scholarship. During my 2025-2026 administration, we will serve with a G.L.O.B.A.L. perspective:

Leadership reflects our ongoing commitment to develop our skill sets to lead and serve our community effectively;

Pi Phi Omega consists of a dynamic group of college-educated women who represent various professions, backgrounds, and ages, united in our commitment to harness our skills and uplift the community we serve.
